About

‘Sup, I’m a radical feminist. Radical feminism is about getting to the root of the problem, in this case, female oppression by males. Gender is that mechanism by which females are oppressed by males. Consequently, radical feminists are gender abolitionists.

I write anonymously because in the US of A, it is not popular to state that trans women are not women. I’m a student, if you must know. I will not always have time to write. I’ll try my best. I may disallow comments for that reason, in the future, if things get insane. Because, honestly, I don’t want to be reduced to a moderator.

If you are looking for some primers on radical feminism, hit up the Radical Feminist Archives. I also recommend anything by bell hooks, Susan Faludi, and so on. Consume everything by women, in as many contexts as possible. Contrary to what the liberal whackos on Tumblr will tell you: it is not as simple as it might seem.

I should know, too! I was once a raging liberal feminist. Then, I guess I grew up a little bit and realized that men’s dominance over women was quite prevalent in the things I was championing (porn, prostitution, trans culture). I also firmly believe that women and girls in the most horrible parts of the world don’t benefit from Western silence on their situations (Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Afghanistan, etc.). I would like to see a movement that champions those women’s voices against gender bullshit in their countries too, and one that recognizes our differences, but also how they all intersect ultimately to deliver a uniquely terrible experience of womanhood.

I’ll try to update each week. No guarantees. I’m busy with life.
